You already know that your unique link and cookies track your referrals. But when exactly does the system generate a commission for you?

It’s important to understand that you don’t earn a commission simply because someone clicks your link or signs up for a free Babelix account. The system generates your commission when your referral takes a specific payment action. We call these actions “conversion events.”

In the Babelix affiliate program, you earn a commission when a user who arrived via your link completes one of the following payment actions:

• First Subscription Purchase (Vip, Elite, or Pro):
  • Action: When your referral buys a Vip, Elite, or Pro subscription for the first time (whether monthly or quarterly).
  • Commission Generated: You receive 50% of that first payment amount.
• Subscription Renewal (Vip, Elite, or Pro):
  • Action: When your referral renews their existing subscription (on any monthly or quarterly payment cycle).
  • Commission Generated: You receive 30% of each renewal payment, as long as the user stays active!
• Credit Purchase:
  • Action: When your referral purchases a credit package to use within the platform. These credits can be used to send messages, give “likes,” buy profile “boosts,” and access future features as they are implemented.
  • Commission Generated: You receive 30% of the value of each credit purchase made by your referral.

Important: Commission Validation Period

Although the system records the commission when one of these payment actions occurs, it must pass a short validation period before it is confirmed and ready for payout.

For Subscriptions: We offer our new subscribers a trial period and a timeframe for requesting refunds.

• Period Details: There is a 3-day trial period + 4 additional days to request a refund (totaling 7 days from the start of the subscription).
• What this means for you: The commission generated by a subscription will appear in your dashboard (likely as “Pending” or “Unpaid”), but the system will only confirm it and make it eligible for payment once these 7 days have passed. The customer has not requested a refund.

For Credit Purchases:

• Given that credits are a digital good for immediate use, commissions generated from their purchase are generally validated more quickly, as they are not subject to the same refund period as subscriptions.

This process ensures that the commissions you receive are for final sales and helps maintain the program’s sustainability.

In Summary:

You earn money every time your referrals invest in the Babelix experience, whether through their first subscription, ongoing renewals, or by purchasing credits to enhance their interaction. Each of these actions counts, as long as they are not requested within the established timeframes.
