To maintain the integrity of the affiliate program and ensure it is fair for all honest participants, Babelix has a zero-tolerance policy towards any fraudulent activity.
We consider fraud to be any deliberate attempt to generate commissions illegitimately by deceiving our tracking system or violating program rules.
Activities Considered Fraudulent (Examples):
While not limited to this list, here are clear examples of what we consider fraud:
- Self-referrals: Attempting to sign up or purchase subscriptions on Babelix using your own affiliate link to generate a commission for yourself.
- Fake or Inflated Clicks: Using bots, automated scripts, click farms, or any artificial method to generate clicks on your links that do not come from real, interested users.
- Fake Signups or Subscriptions: Creating fake user accounts, using stolen or invalid payment information, or incentivizing signups you know are not genuine solely to collect the commission.
- Cookie Stuffing: Using techniques to install the affiliate cookie in a user’s browser without them having voluntarily clicked your link (e.g., via deceptive pop-ups, hidden iframes, etc.).
- Deceptive Advertising: Creating ads that promise something different from what Babelix offers or deceive users into clicking or signing up under false pretenses.
- Link Cloaking: Deceptively hiding the final destination of the affiliate link.
- Any other method specifically designed to manipulate or abuse the affiliate tracking system and generate undue commissions.
Consequences of Fraud:
We take fraud very seriously. If we detect any fraudulent activity in your account:
- Immediate Termination: Your affiliate account will be permanently closed without prior notice.
- Loss of Commissions: You will forfeit all accumulated commissions, both those pending payment (“Approved”) and those that may have already been paid (“Paid”).
- Legal Actions: Babelix reserves the right to take legal action depending on the severity and nature of the fraud.
We use systems and reviews to monitor program activity and detect potential fraud.
Play fair, focus on attracting real and interested users, and we will build a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship.
